The center of Spain is like a desert, and hot as hell. Hottest place we ever found on a motorcycle. If you like tourist traps, stay near the beaches. We found a great apartment with 4 bedrooms for under £100, but that was a while back.  Nearby was a campsite with  a swimming pool, Bar and restaurant. Heaven. That was on the Costa Brava, the town was Palamos. Took a week to ride there and back, and two weeks boozing, eating and sunbathing.

Still the best Biking holiday we ever had. A long way though
